Mini Modular - Number 17 - The Final One (for now)!! Detectives Office

And this is it - the final of the 17 Modular Buildings designed in mini form - well, unless you're reading this after the 31st December 2022, because Lego will have released a new one by then and I'll be working on number 18!

There's been something about the Detectives Office that always meant I was going to leave this one until last.  I love the layout of the buildings, the pool table inside (which I've managed to re-create (albeit very small!) and the "Pool" sign on the front of the building.  The mixture of the blue and red details colours I have always found appealing.

There was a good challenge with the barber shop to get the horizontal plates approach, the canopy and the blue/white "Als" name in mini form all above each other - I feel I succeeded quite well on it.

This was another one where I used the indented front door approach on the bar side which always means coming in from both sides to the middle and it was also another one with an alleyway all the way from front to back through the building. 

I thought the "Pool" sign would look a little thick by doing the word on both sides like the original and using the same part to get it attached to the building but actually, I think it looks really cool and a key feature of it even more than the original.
