Mini Modular Number 12 - Fire Brigade

I couldn't wait to start this one as I'd got something up my sleeve I wanted to try for it - the Fire Brigade.

So, when I saw the real model and saw the big red sliding door on the front I thought I'd give it a try and get a sliding door into the mini model too!

This challenge meant I had to not only work out how to keep the door free from attachment but also keep the entire area behind the front facade clear from top to bottom to enable the door to slide up into the building.

One thing I couldn't quite manage on this one was the flag in it's original US form - bit difficult in 3 1x1 plates!  So I had to go French for this mini version... lol...

The door seems to be a success in the design and you can even see a fireperson's pole inside the building!
