Mini Harry Potter Hogwart's Great Hall - One Of The Big Sets!

It was time to tackle the 3 big Harry Potter sets and up first was the amazing Hogwarts Great Hall!

I love the 'cutaway' design in the original sized set and wanted to keep to the same approach for the mini version so needed a stable way of holding up 'half' a roof - a bit fiddly underneath the top of it to get the hinges in the right place!

I also wanted to keep the grand look of the interior with the long tables, the house flags, the huge fireplace and the famous candles.

I had to actually have two attempts to get the proportions right on this model - stripping it right back after the first version to increase the size again for this final one.
